Next Meeting
Monday, May 20, 7-9 pm, Studio Portrait Lighting with Linda Hale
Held at Patton Township Municipal Building Board Room, 100 Patton Plaza, State College, PA 16803. The entrance is to the left side of the building with an easy-access sidewalk direct from the parking lot.
This meeting will feature a fantastic presentation by Linda Hale. Linda runs the Art Alliance in Lemont and is also a SCPC club member.
Club Calendar
May 3-26 Lou Saporito has a current exhibit at the Bellefonte Art Museum, May 3-26, 2024, in the R. Thomas Berner Gallery. The gallery is free and open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 12-4.30 pm.
His show is called “Split Second: A Collection of High-Speed Photographs.”
Also at BAM, Chris Taschner will exhibit in July, and Jane Liechty will exhibit in August.

July 4 Central PA Arts Fest

Finally, the club Program Committee will meet soon to discuss next year’s agenda. Any club member who wants to participate is welcome. If you want to be part of the Program Committee, email me so I can include you in the planning.

Competitions
The Keystone Salon of Photography 2024
This multi-club Competition is organized by Fred Doerfler of the Pittsburgh Photography Club and eleven other local clubs, including the State College Photo Club! The small entry fee covers the cost of the website and prizes. Submissions are accepted from now until August 24.
